Safety, health, and quality in the workplace
From personal protective equipment to fire and explosion prevention to admi-
nistering first aid, around the world there are countless laws and regulations governing occupational safety that apply to all possible hazards and situations. Due to the nature of the activities carried out by a corporate group like VINCI Facilities, the potential risk employees and subcontractors face is high. That’s why occupational safety is a top priority for us in every area. At VINCI Facilities, all employees are heavily involved in managing, implementing, and evaluating occupational safety policies. For example, during the past five years we increased the number of training seminars on occupational safety by 56 percent. Our stated, ambitious goal at all construction sites, in our own places of business, at our clients’ places of business, and when on the move is: zero occupational accidents.
More than the law demands
Occupational safety laws stipulate that every company take measures to prevent occupational accidents and work-related health hazards, including measures to create an ergonomic working environment. At VINCI Facilities, we go far beyond the stipulations of these laws when it comes to the safety and health of our employees and the quality of our workspaces.
